OWL Awarded SBIR Extension Grant by Life Science Washington Institute

Rajen N Shah, Co-Founder and President of Orthopedic Wellness Laboratories, Inc. (OWL) announced that OWL, a Washington State corporation, has been awarded Phase 1 SBIR extension grant by Life Science Washington Institute www.lswinstitute.org. This is in addition to the NIH grant (1R43AR080477-01A1) that was awarded to OWL earlier.

Brad H Walker, OWL Cofounder and CEO stated, “We are very proud to receive this award, especially from a very influential Life Science of Washington Institute.

Mike Kahn, VP of Engineering stated that this grant will help us build out a key data analytics capability and implement features that improve therapy effectiveness.  

Daniel L Paulsen, CFO added: “This grant represents a valuable opportunity for OWL. It is non-dilutive, and OWL will retain the IP generated from its application, both creating value for the shareholder and increasing wellness for our users, a win for all!”
