UW graduate and WSU coach has been to 25+ countries, Olympian (Beijing and London), #1 ranked pole vaulter, NIKE/NCAA/USA champion and PAC 10 medal winner, and Olympic coach. Brad is a never resting idea guy.
Rajen Shah // President, BOD Chair, Co-Founder
Raj has worked in Design, Customer Service, Quality, and Worldwide Compliance areas as a designer, manager, and executive. He founded several successful companies in video multiplexing, high definition imaging sonar, and design automation, among others. Raj holds a Master’s Degree in EE, Computers and Biomedical Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Raj has one patent pending.
Dan Paulsen // CFO
MBA from University of Washington, BS Mathematics/CIS. Dan brings over 25 years of experience in IT, with expertise in Accounting and Finance, Sales and Distribution, and discrete manufacturing, among others. He enjoys fishing, beekeeping, and dabbles in home automation.
Daniel Lazar, MD // Chief Medical Officer
MD from University of Washington. BS Biology from Stanford University. Dr. Lazar currently practices at Northwest Hospital in Seattle and has an appointment as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the University of Washington department of Neurological Surgery. His specialties include diagnosis and treatment of complex spinal disorders and minimally invasive spine surgery.
Chris McInnes // Principal Scientist
PhD Bio-engineering from University of Washington. Chris has over 25 years of experience providing bio-engineering expertise for the establishment of sound scientific principles in support of developing new technology and holds 10 patents. Currently he consults with startup companies planning and executing research to span the phase from the early concept generation through product introduction.
Joe Skidmore // Mechanical Engineer
Graduate of Florida Institute of Technologies. Joe has worked in variety of industries such as cosmetic devices, medical devices, and avionics. He has 10 patents granted and several pending.
Aaron Poole // Mechanical Engineer
BS Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University. Aaron has 14 patents granted and severla pending. Formerly a key inventor in L’Oréal, worked for Siemens Ultrasound, 64 Audio, supported robotics development, and former co-owner and brewer in a nano-brewery.
Jerrold Gray // Electrical Engineer
MS Electrical Engineering from University of Washington. Jerrold has 4 patents granted and several pending. He has an extensive background in FPGA and ASIC development, for massively parallel computing, sonar, central office switching, and video capture, among others.
Michael Kahn // Engineering Advisor
BS Electrical Engineering from University of Washington. Michael brings over 25 years of experience in product development of medical, industrial, and consumer devices. He has 1 patent granted and several pending. He is experienced in hardware development, software development, engineering management, product management, and project management.
Dr. Robb Akridge // Advisor
Dr. Robb Akridge, PhD, is founder and CEO of REA Innovations, Inc. He was a co-founder of Clarisonic where he helped develop technologically advanced and clinically proven Clarisonic devices that make a clear difference in skin health and appearance. Dr. Robb represented the brand around the world, meeting with international partners, customers and journalists, as well as appearing on QVC. During his time at Clarisonic, he also held positions as Global Brand President and Vice President of Clinical Research for Clarisonic.
